Each license for Chief Architect that you purchase allows you to run the program on one computer at a time. Chief Architect implements security through a standard USB hardware lock. The USB lock can then be used to provide portability of the software between additional computers. USB ports are standard on computers with Windows XP and newer. USB locks can be used with USB hubs. Student versions come with password security. Other security options may be available. Please call for more information.
Why does Chief Architect need Security? The reason for the security is to protect the software from piracy and copyright violation.
